If you use your animals to water your crops and you’re trying to grow that giant vegetable, remember that they’ll harvest every full grown crop by the end of the day. To raise it, you’ll need formulas, here’s how much speed they’ll add when used: The base speed is x1.0, and this number will keep dropping the longer you keep planting the same crops on the same square. The top speed you can grow your crop is x5.0, five times faster–for instance, a crop that would take a fucking year to grow will sprout in one season (Emery flower, I’m looking at you). I think a fertilizer bin helps by passively maintaining your soil health when the compost level is high enough. I never bothered using No Rots (which I always read as “number rots”, but now it finally clicked: no rot…) Supposedly they help by preventing plants to wilt, but if you take good care of your field it won’t be necessary at all. Here’s how much health each item will recover. They’ll also make your crops and trees look tiny, but the crops and fruits will be normal sized when harvested. The only exception are Minimizers: they’ll recover your soil health by 60 with each use. If your soil hp reach zero your crops might wilt. Keep in mind these enhancers (formulas, greenifiers, wettable powders, giantizers, no rots) will drop your soil health points, so if you’re going to use them you’ll need to recover the soil hp afterwards. If your level is too low to craft any of these, here are some grinding tips.
That way, whenever you use the tool you’ll see the stats at the same time.
Here’s the tip though: use it to upgrade one of your farming tools, like your watering can (I used on the hoe too). For those who don’t know, to see all these stats you’ll need to buy a magnificent glass at the general store.
