Noah “Shark” Robertson is an entertainer & music industry professional with over 20 years of experience. The opportunity to teach skills like these to students at School of Rock and provide them with direction for their own musical journeys is one that Colton is excited for. Now releasing music as a solo artist, Colton understands the necessity of self-discipline and the importance of adhering to a demanding schedule while also nurturing a passion for music. Through this decision, Colton took it upon himself to begin learning bass, keys and vocals in order to bring his music to life. Possessed with a DIY spirit, Colton spent the following years teaching himself guitar and finding his sound until he ultimately decided it was time to begin recording and producing his own material. Not long after he began attending live shows, Colton’s satisfaction as just a member of the audience ran dry and he knew that he had to find a way to participate in the culture. Bands from the Warped Tour years such as My Chemical Romance and Sum 41 informed his taste in music early on and turned his focus to sharp lyricism and punchy guitar riffs. Teaching gives her a way to pass on that love and passion to children and young adults, and that is the greatest gift one can give in her eyes.Ĭolton discovered his love for music as a teenager growing up during the height of the alternative scene. Music has always been a great passion for Melissa. She has taught many different genres of music through the years anywhere from opera to country and loves singing all styles of music. She pursued a Music Education degree while attending classes at Collin College and TWU. Melissa studied voice throughout grade school and continued throughout college. After that, all she wanted to do was play music. She first became interested in rock music when she was around six and heard her dad play guitar for the first time. After training in classical voice for over 18 years, she fell in love with rock music and pursued a career as a vocal instructor at School of Rock Plano. During her time with School of Rock, she has been an instructor, show director, Little Wing and Rookies teacher, and Music Director. Melissa Johnson started her School of Rock journey in 2016 teaching vocals, keys, bass, and guitar.
